Comparisons and conclusions
We read articles from the Willem Van Oranje College and show the differences and the similarities between them and us.
The similarities:
Conclusion:
We have some similarities like our hobbies, our free time, about helping at home and about social media. But we also have few differences in our family for example or about the social background and where do we live. It was interesting to know more how about their spare time.
We also read the Queen Mary school’s article and we found interesting similarities.
Similarities:
Most of the parents and grandparents have a lot of spare time.
They do a lot of outdoors activities.
They also help their parents.
Differences:
The Indians have larger families than us.
The grandparents do not have pocket money.
The younger generation has far less Spare time than the older generations.
Our impressions about the project:
Conclusion :
It was a good project, it taught us what older generations do in their Spare time but it was a bit difficult like with the organization, we could do more video-conferences and chat by messages.
The similarities:
- They have the same hobbies than us, they watch movies and series, they dance, they go on their phone.
- They use social media.
- They have a lot of free time and they get pocket money. They have to help their parents.
- We all have not the same number of members in our families.
- There are social background and religious clubs.
- They live in a little village and they are close to each other.
